Ik las dit op het 'Turbobricks' forum, iemand enig idee wat dit spul is, heb er nog nooit van gehoord

Just wanted to share to everyone who gets crappy MPG on thier birck...I finally found the solution...buy two cans of SEAFOAM and put one in your gas tank. Then take about 5 ounces out of the second can...disconnect the hose on your flame trap...It's the smaller hose which connects to the throttle body to the small Y nipple on the flame trap. Then start your car up...make sure the hose doesn't go all the way down your cup and you have to rev the engine so that it won't die on you..let the vacuum suck all the seafoam up. Turn off the car and wait 10 minutes before you re-start...there should be a big cloud of smoke coming out of your tailpipe..don't worry this is normal. THen you're done...enjoy an incredible increase on you MPG...mine jumped up from 220miles to 300miles...

Eeen soort van engine wash. We doen het ook op vliegtuigen. Motoren worden gestart en dan wordt er water en eventueel zeep in gespoten en dat maakt dan de motor intern schoon, waardoor bijv het brstof gebruik effectiever wordt. Zoiets zal dit ook wel zijn al geloof ik niet dat dit zoveel effect zal hebben als dat die vent zegt. Volgens mij merk je er weinig tot niets an.

Ik vraag het me ook af ja...Had ergens gelezen dat het even helpt, maar dat die rotzooi in je hele blok ging zitten. Het is gellof ik de bedoeling dat het een enorm versleten blok weer even een oppepper geeft zodat ie nog even mee kan.

op turbobricks zijn er aardig wat mensen die er goede resultaten mee behaald hebben. Zoek maar een naar de Chinese water torture.
Dan laten ze de motor een kleine hoeveelheid water door de inlaat opzuigen, dan de seafoam en dan ff rijden en olie verversen. De meeste vinden dat ie beter trekt en minder brandstof verbruikt...
beetje vreemd spul maar klinkt niet slecht...

wat doet het spul nou eigenlijk??? Slijtage als het ware 'opvullen'. Blijft er bijvoorbeeld een laagje achter in de motor. Ik vind het maar een beetje raar spul :twisted:

Bij wie dan? Grotere rotzooi is er niet. lees de reviews er maar op na. Inderdaad, alleen handig als je je auto wilt verkopen met een rotte motor. Op dat moment ben je echter wel iemand aan het belazeren.
