Ik kwam vandaag een stukje tegen over relais in Volvo's; misschien dat daar de oorzaak in zit?
(Zo goed als de Volvo's zijn, zo slecht zijn hun relais.......)

1323592 Radio (Noise) Suppression Relay
Also used as Cooling Fan Relay on some '88-93 240, 700, 900, and S80.
The failure of this relay will cause a No-Start condition
This relay is likely mounted under the hood at the right shock tower or near the coolant reservoir.
For B230FT (turbo) engines this relay is likely mounted near the left shock tower.
This Radio Suppression Relay and the Cooling Fan Relay used in the same year are
interchangable and can even be swapped during an emergency.
If the Radio Suppression Relay starts going bad, you will likely get intermittent starting problems (and/or intermittant running)
since the electrical pulse to the injectors will be interrupted.
If the engine turns over OK, but it won't fire, then this could be the problem.
