I'll have to find some info on the 928 injectors to see if they were rated for the 530/580 ml/min range of fuel flow.
Some over here think that the 'gold' injectors may be a reference to the brass injectors used for some Mercedes Benz applications.
PP, thanks for the links. That second listing is for solenoid injectors used in EFI systems. A nice listing, but not applicable to the mechanical injectors. I'll keep that as a source of flow ratings for the solenoid type injectors.
It looks like I will need to find a listing of the CIS injectors that includes the flow rating in cc/min or ml/min. I think that the GrpA injectors were injectors from another application, such as Porsche or Mercedes Benz, rather than injectors made specially just for the GrpA engines. From a cost saving standpoint, it would make sense to use injectors already available that have the flow ratings needed, rather than having special ones built.
