Orientatie flexplaat B23E

Dit is nog het oude type flexplaat. Deze motor (B23E) heeft de BDP-sensor niet aan de bovenkant (met uitsparing in vliegwiel) zitten, maar aan de rechter zijkant.
Daarnaast zag ik geen pijltje als markering, maar Brickboard bevestigde mijn redernatie.

My flywheel didn't have the arrow, although the flexplate I took off did.

IIRC, the missing holes are actually in the starter hole of the block at TDC. But there are only 8 positions, it's pretty obvious when it's right and when it isn't. An additional check is two small pins on the block side of the flywheel (also present in the flexplate, probably something to do with how they were machined in the factory). At TDC, those are supposed to bracket that locating pin on the right side of the block. One above, one below. You'd probably have to mark the flywheel to see them when you are putting it on the crank.

Later zag ik dat er op half zes een centreerpunt als merkteken staat en dat die overeen komt met een punt op de krukas.
