mooi setje. En deze kerel is zeer betrouwbaar (en niet duur). Ik heb van hem de hele intercoolerset compleet gekocht. En laatst nog een cruisecontrol kitje plus wat metertjes.

Citaat:You are bidding on a complete genuine Volvo factory boost UPGRADE kit.Easily installed in ANY intercooled 240 Turbo, these parts were only found on very late production 240 Intercooled turbos,......and what a difference they make!
When Volvo began intercooling their 240 turbos they used an electronic boost control circuit that used one,(rather large) relay mounted on the right inner fender well, near the boost control solenoid and coolant resivoir bottle. It's sole purpose was to control a solenoid that controlled boost pressure determined by RPM.In other words once you hit a certain RPM the relay would activate the solenoid and allow more boost to occur.Late into the 1984 production year Volvo started installing an improved boost control electronics circuit.......Much improved!
The later electronics,(as offered here),use 3 seperate relays. One controls the solenoid that controls boost pressure. One is a relay that goes to a fitting that is installed with a sensor in the lower radiator hose,(included),and then goes to an auxilary fan,(also included),mounted in front of the AC condensor so that when temps rise the fan is kicked on providing more cooling meaning ultimately you can run higher boost pressures. The third relay is used to turn off the Air conditioning under boost. After cranking up the boost you'll find the combination of the three systems provides a difference you can truely feel! You'll be amazed.
Now to put to rest some of the myths and mystery surrounding 240 Turbo boost electronics. There is no such thing as "Turbo Plus" kit for 240 series cars.(this kit is the closest you'll come),ALL intercooled 240's had electronics to control a solenoid to achieve the results described above.I think the confusion arises because 740/760/940 cars DID have a "turbo plus" kit available as an accessory that added similar (looking) components.(A control box, solenoid, wiring and some hose). The systems operate very differently though. On the 240 Boost is supressed below a certain RPM where as the 700/900 "Plus kit" upped the boost in relation to the throttle position sensors readings,(at full throttle basically). If anything were to be considered a "plus kit" for the 240 it would be the three relay setup,(offered here),that was standard on the late 240 turbos as described above. And it was never offered as an "accessory".The larger earlier relay you see offered sometimes as a "plus kit" was standard on every 240 turbo that was intercooled through mid 84.
Included is EVERYTHING you need! Wiring harness,3 relays, relay mounting bracket, lower hose fitting and sensor and factory cooling fan and bracketry that went out in front of the AC condensor.(Your current boost solenoid is the same). That's everything you need to install this kit and reap the benefits.ALL parts are in nice condition as well! You can mess around with other aftermarket gadgets that control boost manually or "Frankenstein in" someone elses half witted idea but the bottom line is,this system was designed at the factory to attain maximum boost without harming your engine. I can include some installation tips as well as a factory wiring diagram.I recently discovered,on a lot of 85 240 turbos this wiring harness is incorporated into the main wiring harness making it a real pain to remove.Grab this stand alone harness while you have the chance."Buy it now" price is lower than what I sold the last one for a few weeks ago.
You pay actual shipping.
