The 262 GL was imported into Canada, and it could be had with Euro headlights too as they were legal here then , not like in the US. All the numbers of the amounts imported to Canada were lost when the Volvo assembly plant in Halifax Nova Scotia was closed around the year 2000. I have never seen one here, but apparently there were a couple of them running around Vancouver, and one until quite lately as a friend of mine saw it a couple of times, apparently an older lady was driving it and the couple had had the car since new.
