type aanduiding zit bij jou/ons bouwjaar alleen op de 164.
Dus kan je lang zoeken. Er zitten alleen plaatjes aan de zijkant.

De plaatjes op de zijkant heb ik ook niet..

Jaha, mooie doppen (die heb ik ook) maar die blijven niet aan jouw wielen hangen, andere velg. Jij hebt een houder nodig die je achter het wiel klikt en de dop schroef je erop met een reuzekruiskopschroef. Mijn doppen klikken op de velg zelf.

In 1971 zijn er wat uiterlijkheden gewijzigd. Eerst even het modeljaar checken op het chassisnummer: T is 1970, U is 1971, loopt van sept tot sept. En de rest van het systeem voor de eerste helft van het chassisnummer:

7 = Station wagon with glass rear cargo side windows. Heightened roof.

3 = M410 (3.54)
4 = M40/M400 (four-speed)

8 = M40/M400 (four-speed with column-shift gear change)

The seventh number indicates the market:
1 = Left-hand drive.
2 = Right-hand drive.
3 = Left-hand drive excluding California.
4 = Left-hand drive, California only.
8 = Left-hand drive, assembled in Belgium (VENV) and Canada.
9 = Right-hand driven, assembled in Australia, Malaysia and South Africa.

Een deluxe 142 1971 heeft nieuwe stijl velgen en grille, en oud stijl recht stuur, lange pook en uitstekende deurgrepen, zoals jij.

Let op de typeplaatjes, achterop hoort zeker nog V-O-L-V-O, en op de zijschermen toch echt VOLVO 142 te staan. Waarschijnlijk kan je aan de achterkant de propjes plamuur zien/voelen waarmee de gaatjes dichtgesmeerd zijn. Wordt overigens ook een hele berg pepernoten en chocolademunten voor gevraagd.
